This Concubine is Alluring but Not the King
by Return To Wu
About This Novel
She is the most stunning beauty in Jiuhuang, Hua Qingcheng, the lord of Huacheng City, who is best at charm and poisoning. He thinks she is cruel and frivolous; he is the monk Mingyi in Bodhi Temple. He has been serving the Buddha in Han Temple for twenty years but could not be ordained. The master said that he has not yet reached the Buddha's destiny and is too heavy in the mortal world. She took him away from the wilderness and into the mortal world. She said that he was the only prince in Linsu, and she said that she would send him to the supreme throne of Linsu. He struggled and escaped, but in the end he was willing to let her control him, and even developed bigger and more arrogant ambitions, but he could never see through her smile and whisper. On that day, he was ninety-five supreme, but she suddenly left. What he thought she wanted and what he had been unwilling to give was actually what she disdained. On that day, she shed her beauty and smiled to charm all living beings, as she once said in a joke: I am a beautiful concubine, but I can't love the king if I love the country.

It feels very interesting to watch.
I finally finished reading it. It's a very different story. It's not as intense as other stories about the relationship between men and women, but it's still unforgettable. The most cruel thing is that the heroine's brother died. It made me cry after reading it. I saw that the enemy the heroine always wanted to kill was her biological father. I felt really confused. There are also many places where the writing is too obscure and difficult to understand. I have to turn to the front to read and think about it.
