On the night of September 18, 1931, Japanese imperialism caused the Liutiao Lake Incident near Dabei Camp in Shenyang and launched an armed invasion of Northeast China. Some patriotic officers and soldiers of the Northeast Army spontaneously fought against the Japanese army. In the six years from September 18th to the July 7th Incident, the Chinese people and their army successively carried out some local wars of resistance. These wars of resistance can be said to be the prelude to the full-scale outbreak of the war of resistance. This book tells the story of the September 18th Incident, as well as the 128th Songhu Anti-Japanese War, the Great Wall Anti-Japanese War and other situations in which the Chinese army fought against the Japanese invaders.
