Dai Yi and Jiang Tianqi, both 49 years old, are colleagues and friends. They have known each other for nearly 30 years and call each other Ashaoer and Qiqi. The two are still single for different reasons. Dai Yi has been divorced for 20 years and has been entangled with her ex-husband, but she is determined not to remarry. Jiang Tianqi has never been married, believing that it is better to live happily alone than in a bloody marriage. Dai Yifo is lazy, while Jiang Tianqi is diligent and serious. During an elderly group tour with two people, Dai Yi was accidentally injured and stranded in a high-end nursing home in Shuidao New District. She was sent to work locally by her superior unit, which forced Dai Yi to drag her elderly parents to live directly in the nursing home. Jiang Tianqi's parents, who were nearly 80 years old, got divorced. In order to take care of her mother more conveniently, she and her mother were transferred to the location of the nursing home with Dai Yi, and they became neighbors of the nursing home. The two became the company's only local employees. With a new job and a new home, the two eldest sisters, who are a combined 100 years old, are living happily in the new land. They don't have to remarry, don't have to find a partner, and they still have a wonderful and hilarious life.
