About This Novel
The past has no use for us, the future is full of anxiety, only the present is real, here and now, seize the moment. As the saying goes, seize the day. William has always done this. Twenty years ago, he decisively dropped out of school and went to Hollywood to realize his dream of becoming a star; a few years ago, he decided to divorce and tried to be a free bachelor; a few weeks ago, he resolutely resigned and joined the unfamiliar world of stocks. Today, it seems that William, a low-income actor, will never get divorced and is still running around trying to make a living. The hotel pressed for rent; the father stopped helping; the wife sent the bill to pay. He gave all his remaining savings to the stock market, hoping that this time he could truly seize the day.
