They chose a good day to petition on the Mid-Autumn Festival. At six o'clock in the morning, just as it was getting dark, the team gathered and set off. A total of more than 20 vehicles formed a miscellaneous convoy, including minivans, minivans, cars and pickup trucks. The condition of the vehicles varied, some were dilapidated, and they carried about 200 people on the road. They chose their route carefully, avoiding highways and toll booths where they might get into trouble. They went from village roads to county roads and then provincial roads. The convoy was not blocked and entered the urban area more than two hours later, arriving at the municipal government compound. More than 20 dusty vehicles of various brands were lined up outside the gate of the compound. A large number of people got out of the vehicles and gathered in a chaotic manner, and a unique Mid-Autumn Festival scene unfolded.
