From there he disembarked and went inland, where he worked as a cowboy in Rupununi, smuggling goods (he didn't say what) into Brazil, and he also brought some young Brazilian women to Georgetown. He opened the best liquor store there and was doing prosperously. However, the policeman who took his bribe betrayed his promise and arrested him.
