After reading this book in one sitting, I felt deeply, but I didn't know where to start. I borrowed a passage from the article to express it: "When faced with the choice between right and kind, choose kindness." Kindness is not about doing earth-shattering things. Kindness can be just a heart-warming word or an inclusive look. The world is not as good as imagined, and it is not as bad as imagined. I hope that there will always be more good people than bad people.

The only reason why I am not ordinary is that no one looks at me in an ordinary way.

I probably like reading healing novels, and I was moved to tears several times. This ten-year-old boy is a deformed child (please forgive my frankness). He grew up in a middle-class family with a father, mother and sister who love him and are selfless for him. Because of his face, he didn't really go to school until he was 10 years old, even though he was really just like ordinary people in other aspects. Before the age of 10, his studies were assisted by his mother. However, his parents were great. They knew that Auggie could not keep escaping. He needed to bravely face this unfriendly world and face his true self bravely. All beginnings are difficult, even for Auggie. When he first entered school, because many people did not accept this deformed child, he was often alienated from other children. Only Jack was willing to talk to him and be a "friend" with him, so that he would not become an island. Maybe there are some people who really don't care about appearance. This is probably the case with Summer who took the initiative to strike up a conversation with him when they were eating in the school cafeteria for the first time. Although she also came into contact with him because of his appearance, it was a kind of friendly contact. It was not like others who just saw Auggie. There was a look of disgust and disdain on his face. First of all, it was a kind of pity from the heart. In subsequent contacts, Summer discovered that although this boy had a deformed face and had low self-esteem, he was actually quite normal in other aspects. For example, he was very humorous and imaginative. He was a very interesting boy. Maybe you will think that it is good that he has two friends, but what you don't know is the psychological trauma he has suffered because of his deformity. He has been treated as a plague and possessed by cheese. Almost everyone rejects him and is unwilling to touch him, or even to touch things he has touched. This is so difficult. What's even more sad is that on Halloween, he overheard Jack telling a group of other friends that he was actually forced to be friends with Auggie. He really didn't want to face that deformed face every day. If he had such a face, he would want to hang himself immediately. Auggie's heart was completely cold at that moment, wronged? Betray? He doesn't seem qualified. From then on, Auggie ignored Jack. He only regards Summer as a true friend At this time, Jack was also very innocent. He didn't understand why Auggie ignored him after a Halloween. Later, after he got a hint from Summer and fully understood it, he immediately explained. He said that in fact, he only came into contact with Auggie because Mr. Tushman asked him to be friends with him at first, but later he got to know Auggie better, and those who hated Auggie thought Gradually, the fear faded away, and he began to get to know this smart, cute, and humorous little boy again, and truly became friends with him. As for the words he said, he expressed regret and regret, but they were just words to another group of his friends. Children are always more open-minded, and Auggie accepted Jack's explanation. Forgave him. But Jack's "friends" didn't understand him and finally parted ways with him. In fact, the author wrote quite well about this aspect, and it is very close to reality. I feel very deeply. It seems that after a person in the class is isolated, other people who come into contact with him will not be understood and will be isolated by others. With Jack and Summer, Auggie is really much braver. He no longer feels inferior and is no longer lonely. I really want to thank his two friends for Auggie. Perhaps it's because of the weakening effect of time. In fact, not many people in the school reject Auggie anymore, and some people are even willing to make friends with him. I'm really happy now that things have improved. At the later fifth grade graduation ceremony, Auggie really became famous. What Tushman said to Auggie made everyone think a lot, including children and parents. They all fell in love with this deformed little boy. The translator said at the end of the article that actually everyone has an Auggie in their heart. I think so. Maybe not everyone has a facial deformity like Auggie, but just a small shortcoming is enough to break the heart. But we should not escape, take good care of it, face it bravely like Auggie, and overcome the troubles it brings to ourselves. May all Auggies be treated with kindness.

whole book

Everyone is Auggie, just to varying degrees. It's just that those extraordinary people are not so lucky in real life. They are disabled, mentally deficient, not well treated by society, and do not have the love of their families. They are as humble as grass and have no resistance. Can we make a new rule of life... Always treat others a little more kindly than we should.

I cried the whole time while watching it, but I also understood that this world is like this. Brings people to tears. When I was watching it, I really hated those people who looked at Auggie in a strange way. After watching it, I realized that I was that kind of person. In elementary school, there was also a girl in my class. She was not good-looking and her family was poor. Every time her classmates laughed at her, I would laugh with her.

A very shocking book, everyone is Auggie, and everyone can be Jack. It is a book worthy of each of us to reflect on, understand ourselves, and worth studying.

What a coincidence

How should I put it? I just finished watching the movie and already cried for two lines. It feels very similar to my life. (It's just similar.) I didn't expect to meet him while reading. Then I watched it again and had a new experience. It's good and good.
