About This Novel

"A Study in Scarlet" is one of the classic stories in the "Sherlock Holmes" collection. It was completed in 1886 and published together with other works in the "Beaton Christmas Annual" the following year. It is very popular among readers. We are used to referring to A Study in Scarlet as "The First Case" because it introduced us to Sherlock Holmes, John H. Watson, and everything about Baker Street for the first time. The story is narrated in the first person by Dr. Watson, describing his acquaintance with Sherlock Holmes, as well as Holmes's meticulous observation and extraordinary reasoning and analysis abilities that surpass ordinary people. Then, they were involved in a murder case... Sherlock Holmes' first trial, absolutely exciting!
