About This Novel
The story takes place in the "Cross City" in the southern hemisphere. Subey, a down-and-out alcoholic detective, accepted the "charity" from the newspaper Richard when he was in poverty and investigated the truth behind the death of an unknown woman at No. 189 Weir Street in exchange for reward. However, as Subei's investigation deepened, people related to this case gradually surfaced, implicating his beloved lover Mint, his old friends, and even Richard himself.
