Beiping Daizhou Guild Hall and Its Owner's Rise and Fall
by Yan Lisheng
About This Novel
Beiping Daizhou Guild Hall, as its name suggests, is named after Daizhou. Daizhou, now Dai County in Shanxi Province, is a state and county with a very special cultural background and geographical location in history. It is located in the northeastern part of Shanxi Province, bounded by the remnants of Beiyue Hengshan Mountain in the north and Wutai Mountain, a Buddhist holy land, in the south. Yanmen Pass within the territory ranks first among the nine fortresses. In the long history, it was an important border city during the confrontation between Song and Liao Dynasties. The ancestral hall of the Yang family generals is located in Dai County. The old and new Guangwu City and Yanmen Pass constitute a world-famous military fortress. --Inscription In the summer of 2011, Mr. Cui Youliang, the former director of Dai County Museum, took his family to travel to Beijing. After returning, I published the article "The Changes of Daizhou Guild Hall" in the 4th issue of "Yanmenguan" magazine in 2012, which left a lot of suspense. Who is the owner of the club? What happened in the guild hall during the important turning period from the Revolution of 1911 to the July 7th Incident?
