"A Wandering Beggar" tells the story of the chaotic gangster life of a group of lower-class workers. The novel begins with an earthquake disaster, and a baby girl with a long tail is born. This baby girl with a long tail is named Curly. She is undoubtedly a collection of misery in life, and her existence undoubtedly reflects the ugliest features and essence of life. Laifu is not a character throughout the whole book, but he and Curly Mao depended on each other for a time, which made Maomao's life still show some warmth. Then a group of Luman, sinister, simple and vulgar guys appeared one after another: Adan, Monk Zhao, Wang Laofi, Wandering Mouse, Black Gangtou, Guoxiang... These people formed a mighty team of lumpen proletarians. In today's terms, they are a complete "vulnerable group".
