This book is adapted from real historical events and revolves around the legendary story of China's largest natural diamond "Golden Rooster Diamond" in Jinjiling, southern Shandong. During the Anti-Japanese War, the reactionary forces frequently plotted to seize the "Golden Rooster Diamond" and staged a bloody fight. In the extreme chaos of war, the "Golden Rooster Diamond" was eventually stolen by the Japanese invaders. Faced with the burning, killing and looting by the Japanese invaders, the soldiers and civilians of southern Shandong rose up to resist and formed guerrillas to participate in the war of resistance. Due to the huge disparity in strength, the battle was extremely fierce. The anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians made huge sacrifices. After eight years of arduous struggle, they finally won.
