About This Novel
Fascination and despicability are two new aesthetic types that have emerged in the Western contemporary world. They have had a new impact on the original aesthetic type system (the system centered on beauty and ugliness and the system centered on beauty, sorrow, and joy), forming a system centered on avant-garde and eccentricity. At the same time, a transposition between the beauty of ecstasy and the ugliness of the avant-garde was formed. At the same time, flattering and despicable is a Western understanding of beauty in popular culture, and it proposes a new perspective on popular culture. Therefore, flattering and despicable pose new challenges and thinking to the theory of aesthetic types in world aesthetics.
