About This Novel
This book tells the story of the intellectual property litigation battle between LR Company, a famous American semiconductor company, and Tianhua Company of China. Lu Wenxi, a daughter of the American side, used her summer vacation to "undercover" as an intern next to Shen Mengyuan, a lawyer of Tianhua Company of China. Faced with the "injunction" issued by China's antitrust agencies and courts, LR Company lobbied the US government to include Tianhua Company in the export control list on the grounds of threatening national security.
