It was created during the Anti-Japanese War and was published as a single volume by Chongqing Jianzhong Publishing House in 1943. The book tells the story of the Liangshan heroes who gathered together to help the Song Dynasty resist the Jin invasion. The book has sixty-eight chapters in total.
