About This Novel
The world buries the hidden humanity, and dreams are also the maze of the soul. As an orphan, Mikhail has always had a dream since he can remember. He dreams of crawling out of the bloody water full of corpses and dragging his dying body to the shore. The smell of death has filled the entire waterfront. In order to get rid of the shadow brought by the nightmare, he wrote a story for himself with the help of his friend Matthias: the warriors who died in the battle were reborn in the sea, gained dark divine power, became immortal undead, and collected lives for the God of Death. However, the story fell into a lot of fog at the end. With the sudden departure of the friend, the story was stranded in that black fog. Mikhail, who had lost his friend and had no one to speak about, wanted to return to his hometown. On the way, he met a frustrated middle-aged man on a bridge. He tried to stop the man from jumping off the bridge but failed. He could only watch the man fall into the river, but only an envelope left by the man was left in his hand. The manuscript in the envelope revealed the man's sinful and regretful life, and also brought Mikhail to the place where the story took place. As a wanderer, Mikhail met a poor girl who was also living in a foreign land during a chance encounter. They shared the same illness and fell in love with each other. While hugging each other for warmth, Yusia discovered an amazing secret that he had hidden for a long time but was unaware of.
