About This Novel
"The Problem That Is Not a Problem" is a short story by the modern Chinese writer Lao She published in 1943. This novel tells the story of the decline of Shuhua Farm in the rear area during the Chinese Anti-Japanese War under the management of director Ding Wuyuan. The novel tells people through the different management methods of the two directors that anywhere in China relies on human relationships, rather than relying on ability, business, or science. Only by being smooth and having strong interpersonal relationships can a person find a place in society. Otherwise, everything will be powerless.
