Kawabata Yasunari used superb narrative skills in "Snow Country". Through delicate psychological description and scene characterization, he integrated the loneliness, love and loss of the characters into the natural scenery of the northern country, showing a kind of light lamentation and sadness. The language of the novel is beautiful and poetic, and every detail is full of poetic beauty, making people feel like they are in that remote and mysterious snow country.
