About This Novel
This study uses the poetry of Wang Wei and Nobel Prize winner Heaney, two poets who represent Chinese and Western cultures, as corpus to conduct a multi-level cognitive comparative study, from which a conceptual synthesis model of poetry is constructed, and the poetic meaning is interpreted from the perspective of cognitive stylistics. This book strives to build on Fauconnier Turner's concept synthesis theory to expand its conceptual synthesis theoretical model of dual-domain and multi-domain networks in the fields of narrative, pragmatics, and translation.
