Grandma Wang did not believe in Western medical skills and had deep-rooted traditional ideas, which caused the death of both her daughter-in-law and grandson. For the sake of so-called "civilization", the Wang family in the Liu family compound bullied their daughter-in-law, whom they bought with 100 yuan. In the end, the daughter-in-law hanged herself in the house. The satirical effect is highly recommended. Lao She's works are a bit like Lu Xun's style.
