About This Novel
When the novelist Noboru Morimi was fretting over the idea of a new work, he remembered that he had bought a novel called "Tropica" in college, written by Shoichi Sayama. But halfway through reading, he discovered that the book was missing. After that, he searched all major libraries and bookstores but could not find the book. By chance, he participated in the "Silent Book Club" and met a woman named Shiraishi Zhuzi, who held a copy of "Tropics" in her hand. Various people gathered together because of similar experiences. They all read "Tropics", but unfortunately disappeared mysteriously before finishing the book. Everyone told their memories and tried to piece together clues about the ending of the book. However, these clues triggered a strange adventure... The story about "Tropics" will never end.
