About This Novel
As we enter the depths of winter, the nights also lengthen. Under the gloomy sky in Tokyo, light snow has been falling for several days, and a rare sub-zero low temperature forecast appeared on TV programs. The Chinese dumpling restaurant on the corner reflected orange lights, and the sliding glass door was blurred by the steaming hot air inside. "Okay, your four portions of boiled dumplings plus two portions of fried dumplings." The proprietress looked at the four young people in front of her with a smile. "Thank you!" The young man with dyed flaxen-blond hair took the plate. He was the liveliest one among the group. He had been making trouble since he walked in. His face was a little red after drinking, and his delicate outline gave people the impression that he was still a high school student.
