About This Novel
Suffering from economic corruption in a cooperative enterprise, Ichiro Totsuka planned to get rid of Sasaki, who was handling the project, and disguise his death as a suicide in fear of crime to get rid of the police investigation. But when he was about to commit murder, Sasaki fell to his death. Totsuka, who was in a complicated mood, fled the scene and was later found dead of a severe injury to the back of his head. Kuno from the Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Section 1 and Tajima from the local police station team up to participate in the investigation. However, the facts of the case are not yet clear, and cases with the same criminal methods as the Totsuka case have occurred one after another. The seemingly unrelated victims have puzzled the police. An invisible thin red thread is hidden between the murderer's fingers.
