About This Novel

This is a collection of short stories. In 1985, after the Yellow River was diverted to the east in Tongwaxiang, Lankao, Henan, the old Yellow River path left behind was filled with sand and rocks, and crops could not stand. For more than a hundred years, people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait have endured hardship almost with tears and sweat. Although "Old Route of the Yellow River" was born in this land of disaster, the author does not caress the scars sadly or tell the pain with tears on his face, but uses an emotion that sprouts from the deepest part of his heart to use the old Yellow River as a symbol. In the background, it describes and depicts a group of small people living on both sides of the Yellow River. It uses simple language to describe the occurrence, development and enrichment of the national local culture along the Yellow River, and outlines the secular customs on both sides of the Yellow River.
