Jiao'er
by Yan Geling
About This Novel
Yan Geling is a writer and screenwriter, a former female soldier in literature and art, and has played a variety of roles on stages all over the country. She understands that life is like a drama. By reading and appreciating the stories of each "character" in the book, we may be able to play our own "character" in the drama of life and add another bargaining chip. "Jiao'er" includes ten selected short and medium-length novels by Yan Geling, including "The Story of Little Gu Yan", "Jiao'er", "Lime Bird", "Good Baby", "Old Prisoner" and "Whose Family Has a Young Girl". The author casts a female perspective into the vast historical memory, and writes about the human boundaries of small and medium-sized people in the great era with compassion and sharp writing. Zhu Yijin, who has a rough life, Xiao Gu, a good wife and mother, and Pan Qiaoqiao, a smart and beautiful girl... Although they shouted hard and struggled desperately, they eventually irreversibly went to destruction, showing the cruel indifference of human nature, the helplessness of fate, and revealing the heaviness and pain of life.

Who finally broke the string, made the flowers fall on the shoulders, and became confused
Who caused the string to break in the end, and the flowers fell on the shoulders, in a trance. Xiao Gu's love was too humble. For her sweetheart, she worked hard to do things she had never touched before, such as practicing calligraphy, sketching, and makeup. She also humbled herself to please the women in the alcove who were gentle on the surface but dirty inside, or the aggressive children who relied on their childlike words. For her sweetheart, the man with her last name, she devoted herself to others. She used the cheapest things and the lowest use of life. However, she left the best and most expensive things to her husband, just because she loved him, and her love was too humble. It was also because of love that she had low self-esteem. She wanted to work hard to get better, to try to be worthy of the talented person she loved deeply. However, maybe because she loved him too much, everything she did was taken for granted by the man. He might feel guilty, but because of his arrogance and so-called self-esteem, he found a reason not to feel guilty, and finally divorced. I don't know if Xiao Gu fell in love with the wrong person, and I'm not qualified to judge whether she did anything wrong. After all, she worked hard and carefully maintained her marriage without any regrets, but in the end she ended up being forced to divorce by her husband and children. How sad and deplorable? I am critical of that man. Maybe in the beginning of the marriage, he just liked Xiao Gu, or was suitable for her, and then decided to make do with it. It's not that he didn't like Xiao Gu, but that he loved himself more. That's why he got two university teachers later, and he would unconscionably enjoy Xiao Gu's goodness while enjoying the beauty of women outside. Oh, how ridiculous, how sad? Finally, I wish Xiao Gu San will have warm winters, not cold springs, have lights when it gets dark, and umbrellas when it rains, and may my beloved be by my side for the rest of my life.
So well written, so well written.
I'm lucky enough to sit on the sofa
Is Writer Yan a realist critic?
So well written, so well written.
Teacher Yan's book must be good!
Collected first.
A masterpiece from a famous author, a must add.
Not good-looking
The first story was okay, but after reading it I didn't want to read it anymore, it wasn't that good.
won't regret
If you see her book, pick it up!
If it weren't for its peculiar shape, Suiko wouldn't have seen many things she shouldn't have seen, such as women hitting men, men hugging nannies, dogs eating oil paint, etc. However, the following story does not overlap with the three landscapes introduced above, but it is also based on the shape of the building borrowed by Suiko and her friends of the same age.
