About This Novel
The collection of short stories "Visitors from the Alley" is a memoir written from the author's childhood perspective using a novel style. There are eight short stories in the book, namely "Qingyun Lane", "Boys and Girls", "Those Flowers", "Because of Love", "Unexpected Incident", "Moonlight in the Alley", "The Wind Continues to Blow" and "Visitors from the Alley". In the small alley, there is endless talk about the filthy parents and the various conditions of the world. The relatively independent yet interrelated chapters in the article describe all kinds of people and miscellaneous things in Qingyun Lane, which are intertwined together to form an floating world picture with the customs and fireworks of eastern Zhejiang. In the alley, people come, some go, some cry, some laugh... Time quietly changes everything, but it leaves behind memories.
