Long Neck Glass
by Li Yonghe
About This Novel
Years later, I still can't forget those nights in the shared apartment and every scene I saw Aqi through the crack in the door. His resolute and tall profile sitting next to the stack of books, concentrating on reading, and his calm and breathless expression, he is so eager to obtain knowledge, as if he can move forward towards destiny, and push a little closer to the opportunity to see the moon in the water. By settling down in a pile of books and facing loneliness alone, he may be able to obtain the most practical and upward gifts from fate. Perhaps he is also desperately seeking solace in his desire for the future.

There are actually many surprising things in this book, which will give you a fatal blow when you think the ending will be beautiful. For example, during the time when Aqi disappeared, I thought the final encounter was real, but in the end the author gave me a surprise, because it was all a fantasy. There was no clear ending in the end, but at least I knew she was happy. To sum up, this book is a very regrettable book that I have seen, but this ending is more like the beginning.
