Day 47: Reinforcements Will Arrive Tomorrow
by Liu Xiao
About This Novel
In 1944, on the frontal battlefield of China's Anti-Japanese War, the Tenth Army was ordered to defend Hengyang, an important town in Central and South China at that time. With the great disparity in strength between the enemy and ourselves, the Tenth Army defended the city alone for forty-seven days. Through the form of a diary, the author leads readers back to the historical scene, recreating what happened in these forty-seven days in a panoramic manner. At the same time, the author uses the three-line narrative of the defenders, the enemy, and the reinforcements to vividly reflect the tragedy of the war and the contradictory struggle of human nature. By peeling off the cocoons, the inextricable connections between this war and major historical events of the same period are revealed. Under the torrent of fate and history, can individuals and groups turn the tide?

I really don't know how to describe it in words after reading it. It really means that as long as I live, if the Japanese dare to invade, they will never come back and fight with the Japanese aggressors with death.
Very exciting, different from previous books!
