About This Novel
British science fiction writer, together with Asimov and Heinlein, known as the "Three Giants of World Science Fiction". He created more than 100 works in his lifetime, which have been translated into more than 40 languages. He has won many top science fiction awards such as the Nebula Award and the Hugo Award. His representative works include "Childhood's End", "2001: A Space Odyssey", "Meet Rama" (double award) and "Fountains of Paradise" (double award) and other masterpieces in the history of science fiction. In 1986, he received the Master Award, a lifetime achievement award from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Most of Clark's works belong to "hard science fiction", with a grand vision, a solid scientific foundation, full of humanistic care, and full of exploration of the ultimate meaning of human civilization. As early as 1945, Clark proposed the idea of using synchronous satellites to achieve global communications. Because of his great contribution, the International Astronomical Union named the synchronous satellite orbit above the equator the "Clarke orbit".

It's a shame I didn't buy the book. The original price is 128 and I can read it here for free??
