About This Novel
On December 13, 1937, Nanjing, the capital of the Republic of China, fell. Subsequently, the Japanese army carried out a large-scale massacre in Nanjing and nearby areas for several months, brutally massacring 300,000 of our compatriots... The Chinese people did not give in because of this. They used their flesh and blood to rebuild the Nanjing city wall that was damaged in the war. In the story, nine people each have distinct personalities and characteristics. Because of some of their historical problems, they got an opportunity. After special training, they formed a special team and quietly entered the city of Nanjing after the massacre. They fought to the death with the Japanese aggressors and traitors, thus laying a solid foundation for the restoration of the underground organization and activities of Chinese agents in Nanjing...
