Shao Li, chairman of the Henan Provincial Writers Association, won the Lu Xun Literature Award for "Minghui's Christmas" and was shortlisted for the Mao Dun Literature Award for her novel "My Quality of Life". She is regarded as a "leading figure" among contemporary female writers in Henan.
