About This Novel
Bored in his senior year, the author went wandering with 500 yuan in his pocket. When he had only 5.30 Cents left, he became a security guard. The security team includes farmers from all walks of life, middle school dropouts, homeless people, gangsters, and even college graduates who have difficulty finding jobs. They gather here to stage their joy and pain, confusion and hope. Their strong desire to survive shines brightly in the dark night. Is there anything that lights up the world more than desire? There is none left. If desires are indulged, life will certainly fall. If desires are imprisoned, life will wither. A withered life cannot be called life.
