About This Novel
In Manhattan in January, temperatures hover around freezing. Female lawyer Li Zi is facing a choice between love and career. By chance, she intervenes in a deadlocked criminal proceeding, trying to clear the ballet dancer Han of murder charges. In the process of her interviewing witnesses, memory fragments from different people gradually pieced together a past that was about to be wiped out. As the truth slowly emerged, Li Zi also began to think about emotions, marriage, the desire for love between people, and the helplessness of staying together.
