Past Events between North and South
About This Novel
When we first met Jiang Nan, he was young and frivolous. He didn't realize that he was possessed by a demon at just one glance, and all he could think about was that slender girl. The reunion in the capital was a flash of lightning. The two smiled slightly, but their eyes revealed the secret in their hearts. She respects him, loves him, and trusts him wholeheartedly; he teaches her, protects her, and dotes on her to the point of being lawless. At that time, she was eighteen years old, the best age for a girl. After losing all her deep gratitude and drifting away for three years, he was to her the hope of survival during the long time of living in an ignoble way day after day. Looking back on a ridiculous obsession when I was young, I am filled with wounds and it is difficult to distinguish right from wrong. Right and wrong in the world cannot escape the romance of the world; love and affection cannot escape the romance of the world.

Once Upon a Time Between North and South-Book Review
The author is indeed very good at portraying the children of high-ranking cadres. I have read more than a hundred novels, and I have yet to find any writing about the children of high-ranking cadres that is better than the author's. When I first started watching this work, I felt that the male protagonist was a bit like the side character in "I Loved You So Deeply": dignified and self-sufficient, with an ex-girlfriend who was a dancer; and like the male diplomat in "Flight of the Roses", who was a bit arrogant and frivolous. The heroine is a combination of those two novels. She comes from the south, has incomplete parents, and has a somewhat miserable life experience. According to the happy ending of ordinary novels, I guess the accident of the male protagonist's brother should have nothing to do with the female protagonist in the end. Otherwise, how can we remove this thorn in the male protagonist's heart? The plot of this novel seems to be deliberately twisted, causing the characters' emotional changes to be a bit abrupt: for example, how did the male protagonist let go of his brother's accident and accept the female protagonist - although the female protagonist was attacked was a catalyst, this final step always felt a bit sudden; and how did the female protagonist decide to break up again, based entirely on the self-esteem of not being told the truth of the incident? Later, it was said that it was because of an incurable illness, so the heroine's performance when she proposed breaking up was just an excuse? The extra chapter of Wu Tao Ji is worth watching. The relationship between the two is similar to the story of the protagonist in "The Lover": the female protagonist has been secretly in love with a male protagonist who grew up in a compound for many years, but the male protagonist never understands her heart. I checked on a certain Jiang Literature website and found that the author also has a new work (Bai Yang's Past), but unfortunately I haven't seen it for sale elsewhere...
I really liked the introduction I read, so I gave it a try. The result was very good, which was an unexpected surprise. There has been a shortage of books in this category for a long time.
It's super beautiful. I like the author's books very much, especially the ones about courtyards. I like them very much. I have read every one of your books.
Shen Siliang is the person Huo Xi met when she was seventeen and fell in love with her for a long time, and she is still in love with her now.
She thought, after all, she still likes Shen Siliang like this, a man who is a bit chauvinistic in his bones, but can easily understand human feelings in subtle ways. He occasionally tells innocuous lies in a serious manner, and occasionally shows a seriousness that is not usual. He didn't understand the taste of life, but he still casually put two slices of lemon into her cup. All kinds of things, his warmth in the subtleties. Compassion in righteous humanity. They all made Huo Xi unable to extricate himself, and he was very happy with it. I feel sorry for Erduoer, I have suffered so much. Er Duo'er's words "Shen Siliang, I've had such a hard life these years" made my heart ache. Shen Siliang's words "Huo Xi, I went to look for you that winter when you left" made me heartbroken. When Huo Xi was undergoing surgery, a group of people were outside wishing Huo Xi a Happy New Year. The idiot's brother called his sister "Nai", which really made her cry. For people like them, money and power are easy to come by, so they have so many hardships in their emotional lives. Shen Siliang said: "If she is alive, I will marry her. If she is gone, I will bury her." With these two sentences, I knew that they would be together well.
How can I put it this way, Huo Xi and Shen Siliang are so sweet when they are good, and they are so cruel when they are separated. It makes me feel bitter to see them! There is a knot in everyone's heart. At first it was Shen Siliang's Xiaohang knot, but then he felt relieved and wanted to marry Er Duoer, but it turned out to be Huo Xi's knot. People are fragile when they are sick, and they don't want to drag anyone down, and they don't want anyone to feel pity, so she wants to break up and leave... When all the truth is revealed, as long as she is still there, as long as he still loves, nothing can stop them from being together! Fortunately, they were together in the end!
very good book
It's rare to see such a good book. The author writes each character in a very three-dimensional way, and every story and foreshadowing of the protagonist is very profound.

I came across this book by chance, clicked on it, read a little bit, and then couldn't stop reading. To be honest, it's been a long time since I've encountered a book I like so much. I like the author's writing style, which is very delicate. The description seems plain, but it feels comprehensive, and there is no feeling that anything is missing. Let's talk about the characters inside. Huo Xi and Shen Siliang: These two people seemed destined to be together from the first time they met until they finally got together. As the introduction said, at that time, Huo Xi respected and admired him, and Shen Siliang also doted on and protected her. During that time, most of the people did not expect that these two people would one day be separated. Shen Sihang's death weighed on everyone. It was a taboo that no one dared to mention, and it was also a knot in their hearts. Even if they meet again, if this knot is not resolved, they will not be able to love each other openly. Huo Xi understands this, and so does Shen Siliang. The two of them love each other very deeply, and even if it hurts, they want to live like this for the rest of their lives. Shen Siliang had made such a plan, but he did not expect that Huo Xi would be burdened with far more than he imagined. I feel sorry for Huo Xi and Shen Siliang. These two people have gone through so much to get together. From young to middle age, they have met too many people, but they still recognize each other. What touches me most about the two of them is actually their unchanging feelings. Huo Xi's unrestrained efforts to save her, and Shen Siliang's persistent pursuit. They would never let their loved ones stop seeing each other just because of a little so-called face. They have been through so much, but they never give up. If they all give up, of course there will be no final result.
The Gears of Destiny - Commentary: Past Events Between the North and the South
Book review: The knot that has lasted for three years has not yet been resolved. So she, Huo Xi, came to seek an answer. But is the answer so easy to find? When she met Shen Siliang again, the gears of fate began to turn. I regret reading this book. It's not that it's not good to read, but it's written in a light sadistic way. It's very heart-wrenching and I feel sorry for the heroine, but I can't do anything to help her. Spring was in full bloom at that time, and I was young and frivolous. Now the words have become a prophecy, I regret not doing so Huo Xi recalled the words of the old abbot, "If you want to save yourself, you must first save others." As everyone knows, it is easy to cross others, but difficult to cross oneself. Yes, it is easy to save others, but difficult to save oneself. Huo Xi and Shen Siliang... The throbbing between the two, how their fate is arranged, where should they go... To be honest, fate is so humorous that it silences those you love. Affection is something that is easy to fall in love with at first sight, but what is difficult is to stay with someone for a long time. The article narrated some past events from the north and the south. It was the abbot Huo Xi met by chance in his memory, but he did not expect that the words contained in the words would come true. Shen Siliang is her disaster. The ending of separation is not worthy of sadness, only despair can make people cry. When they first met in Jiangnan, Shen Siliang met Huo Xi. Without realizing it, his heart fell in love with him at one glance, and all he could think about was Huo Xi. This reminds me of a saying, "Long enough is enough for them to be disappointed." ] When they met again, but in different appearances, she was so depressed, but she held back tears, not wanting her eyes to reveal the secret in her heart. This made me understand that loving someone only requires seven points, otherwise the moon will be full or depleted. They say that the road to love will not be smooth sailing and will always go through ups and downs. The past is gone with the wind, so I can only say this. What happened to these two people is very distressing, and it makes me look... With a sense of sadness, inexplicably. Book reviewer: Ye Tingting
The story has a happy ending. After reading it, I felt a little heavy: this is a tortuous story about a female college student's ectopic pregnancy. I read a lot of novels in circles. Unmarried sex appears in almost every novel. Most of the readers of these novels are probably teenagers. I'm starting to worry... Our moral values really deviate from the teachings of our ancestors.
The male protagonist doesn't seem to know about the female protagonist's previous ectopic pregnancy.
