I once saw a movie called "Ender's Game" which was adapted from this book. I then bought this book and read it. I liked it so much that I recommend it.
Personally speaking, it is a relatively traditional book. It has a kind and talented protagonist. It has a rigorous structure and exquisite details. The protagonist is really well portrayed. I also watched the movie, and although it was not satisfactory, I was quite satisfied with the actor in the lead role. In fact, the plot structure itself is actually quite cool. Although it won the Nebula Award in the United States (it was a book written decades ago, it was too avant-garde to have such a protagonist at that time).
