About This Novel
"Bai Yuchan Taoism Collection" is a supporting project of the author Professor Gai Jianmin of Sichuan University in the National Social Science Fund project "Bai Yuchan Taoism Jindan Sect Southern Sect Research" (completed project, excellent appraisal grade, project completion certificate number: Certificate No. 20110061). It is the author's eight-year effort to "fish from the lake" based on solid literature and field investigations. By means of detailed acquisition of historical materials such as classic documents and local chronicles, inscriptions, notebooks and novels, using traditional bibliographic philology and textual research methods, through mutual verification of internal and external classics and local chronicles and archaeological documents, correcting errors, pointing out deviations, sorting and compiling the lost Bai Yuchan documents, it can be said that it is the latest compilation achievement of Bai Yuchan documents.
