About This Novel
This book is the representative work of the famous Soviet writer Lavrenyov. The novel describes the female revolutionary warrior Malutka who was ordered to escort a White Army general as a prisoner. On the way, they encountered a storm, the ship sank, and the two were swept to an uninhabited desert island.
