About This Novel
Although the place in the ancient Wei Dynasty in Hedong is close to the Yellow River in the southwest, it has always been relatively dry in history. When you watch the weather forecast on TV, it is very obvious that it rains in Xi'an, Shaanxi, and in Luoyang, Henan. However, in the Yellow River Delta in southwestern Shanxi, which is sandwiched between the two, there is very little rain. Even if it does, the ground is wet after rain, and it does not create much of a climate. Strangely enough, it rains a lot this year. It starts raining before the beginning of autumn, and it rains every once in a while. In previous years, after the autumnal equinox, it was the time to sow wheat, but this year it rained so hard that it couldn't penetrate the ground. It was not until around the time of the cold dew that the seeds were reluctantly sown into the ground. It was a bright day, and Mingli and Hongyun were woken up by the sound of rain. Hongyun got up first, and while washing her face, she muttered: It's still raining, this is almost a disaster. Mingli had just planted eight percent of the land in Nangou because her legs and feet were muddy yesterday, so she rested for a while longer.
