That summer, Polish girl Kasia and her friends climbed up the mountain to watch the sunrise, and saw thousands of refugees sleeping in the dark fields at the foot of the mountain. That year, the Nazi military song pierced the night sky of Warsaw, and all the dreams were completely shattered overnight. The smoke filled her hometown and her family was displaced, but Kasia refused to surrender, even if she was sent to the terrible hell-Ravensluck concentration camp. Across the ocean, New York's social circles are enjoying life, but the young socialite Caroline Feridi has been worried about the fate of the Polish girl. Her love was divided into two halves, one half for the lovers who were separated in the troubled times, and the other half for the girls who suffered in the war. Somehow, women who have never met come together, crossing space, nationality, race, and identity, helping each other and moving forward hand in hand. They endured the cold winter silently, waiting for justice to come again.
