In the year 2026 of the Earth Era, a hundred-member expedition team composed of elites from various industries left the Earth and landed on Mars. Their ultimate goal is to transform Mars into a planet suitable for human habitation, which is "terraforming Mars." The "First Hundred Landing" established the first settlement, the "Mountain Foot Base", laying the foundation for more scientists and engineers to come to Mars in the future. Immigration areas were built one after another, and the space elevator connecting the Earth and Mars gradually took shape. More people flocked to it, trying to transform this lonely planet into a habitable place for humans. However, during the terraforming process of Mars, two completely opposite orientations emerged. One is an organization that advocates maintaining the original appearance of Mars; the other is a multinational enterprise that aims to develop Mars minerals for private gain.
