Why isn't it updated? Why?
The author doesn't even know what Qilin looks like
The origin of Kirin culture can be traced back to the Book of Songs and the Classic of Mountains and Seas in the Pre-Qin Dynasty. There are prototypes of similar auspicious beasts in the bronze decorations of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. By the Han Dynasty, it was basically a composite mythical beast with a deer body, an ox tail, a single horn (or two horns), and a horse's hooves. It became one of the "four spirits" (lin, phoenix, turtle, dragon), symbolizing auspiciousness, benevolence, and peace and prosperity. It has nothing to do with dogs
