About This Novel

This book is based on the revised edition by Mao Lun and Mao Zonggang of the Qing Dynasty, and is mainly based on the "Popular Romance of the Three Kingdoms" published in Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty. In addition, I have read many of the various reprints of the Mao version that have been popular since the Qing Dynasty, and absorbed many of the compilation results of the original version of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" published by the People's Literature Publishing House. The names of people, places and officials in the book were revised based on the collated version of "Three Kingdoms" compiled by Zhonghua Book Company and the "Historical Atlas of China" edited by Tan Qixiang.
