This book discusses two different kinds of human beings. We are one, and the other is Neanderthals living in a parallel world. In that world, Neanderthals became dominant. Neanderthals have reached a level comparable to ours in culture and science, but their development history, social customs and life philosophy are completely different. Ponte Bodite, a Neanderthal physicist, accidentally crossed the passage between two worlds and came to our universe. Isolated and studied, he was alone and helpless, and our world was a completely foreign place to him. Still, Ponte found a friend here. In another world, Ponte's partner Adik Hood found himself in a dilemma: the experiment failed, Ponte disappeared, people around him doubted him, and he was accused of murdering Ponte... Can he prove his innocence?
