A Poor Monk is Not a Monk

This story is set in a fantasy world. Like many fantasy worlds with ancient backgrounds, here there is a court and imperial power that belongs to ordinary people, as well as an exclusive agency responsible for abnormal events. Here there are people practicing martial arts, some worshiping Buddha, and some cultivating immortals. Of course, there are also monsters and spirits working hard to transform. However, the most different thing is that this world regards the time traveler as an extraterrestrial demon, an influence that everyone can kill. If exposed, everyone will hunt him down. So the protagonist's first days were just a rough time. But he managed to find a golden finger. This golden finger is quite magical. This man was originally an old monk who was afraid of the protagonist's status and restricted him. He was nominally the protagonist's master. Then the monk observed the protagonist and felt that his personal character was not bad, so he left, saying that he was profound in Buddhism and went to the bliss of the Western Heaven. As a result, after he died, he left the protagonist a space called the Sumeru Realm. In this space, not only were there a large number of exercises, but the old monk's spiritual consciousness or something else was also in it. He could often answer questions for the protagonist or just chat. The style of this story also leans towards resourcefulness. Personally, I think this can become the author's inherent style. The last completed work was a simple urban criminal investigation novel, but this one directly mixes rich ingenuity into fantasy. The author sets up the protagonist as an image of a wise and courageous counselor, who habitually arranges some means to achieve his own goals, or explores the secrets behind something from the perspective of logical reasoning. At the beginning, this style of painting was not very obvious, but as you look further back, the familiar feeling is gradually revealed, which is very subtle. Compared to characters, there are more monsters here. Of course there is one person, who is shaped into the image of Lao Sepi, but in his heart he is a person with good survival wisdom and his fighting ability cannot be underestimated. And the rest are monsters. In fact, I don't think there are any very impressive characters in the story, but it's not overly cheesy either, it's just a decent fantasy. I read this story entirely because I followed the author's first book. That book was quite to my liking, and the author's character is also very interesting. But it can only be said that this story is quite satisfactory. There are basically no hidden dangers of interruptions and unfinished stories, and there are not too many surprises.
