About This Novel
Verloc is a businessman who owns a store selling sex toys, birth control pills and various gadgets. He lives with his wife Winnie, his mother-in-law, and his imbecile brother-in-law Stevie. Winnie takes care of her brother like a son. Although Verloc was employed as a spy by a foreign embassy in London, he had a group of anarchist friends, Osborne, Michaelis and "The Professor". Verloc was asked by his employer, Vladimir, the secretary of the foreign embassy in London, that if he wanted to prove that he was an excellent spy, he must blow up the Greenwich Observatory. Later, a bombing occurred in Greenwich Park and one person was killed, so the police began to investigate.
