First of all, among the characters created by the author, my favorite and most distressed one is Mo Xi. She was not born well, and life taught her to be more clever than ordinary girls. She likes someone who is dedicated and bold, but she knows what she wants and knows that she has to fight for what she wants. The first man was Wan. No matter in the past or present, people with a little background all hope to marry someone who is clean and well-matched. Therefore, Mo Xi is destined to have to give more without getting good results. This is a reasonable and inevitable result. The second man is Chen. Although he snatched Mo Xi, I feel that they are more real together, and Mo Xi also gained the stability and the feeling of being loved by others. From making small calculations to being slowly influenced by him to agreeing to leave together, I think their relationship is very sincere. The third man is Wu. I can only say that he saved Mo Xi's life, but as time went by, I felt Mo Xi's loneliness and sadness from the text, while Wu could only be a silent companion. I only feel sorry for Chen Wende
As I read it, my mind automatically sketched out the characters in the novel. They were vivid and lifelike. There was no silly fool, only an indomitable little girl. Chen Wende, a bastard, wanted to give someone away to his love rival. He was so "generous" that it made people cry. He really loved this little girl so much that he kept calling her little girl.
It is really well written, and it describes the growth experience of a weak woman during the Republic of China in a rich and vivid way. It's just a pity that Chen Wende, who was so good to Mo Xi, died to save Mo Xi.
