by Wan Qiao
About This Novel
A young general × a young talented girl, a story about the first love of the Republic of China in the troubled times that lasted until death. When Gu Zhongnan met Lu Qingya for the first time, he felt that she was weak and had a bitter look on her face, so he gave her a nickname, "Little Huanglian", and deliberately spoke to her from time to time. But after knowing why "Xiao Huanglian" was "bitter", Gu Zhongnan just wanted to slap himself in the face. On one side, Lu Qingya was investigating the cause of his father's death. On the other side, Gu Zhongnan, as the youngest major general, had his military power reduced. Two completely unrelated things, but both contain traces of conspiracy. At a critical moment, Gu Zhongnan's father Gu Changqing was assassinated, the family started fighting, and Gu Zhongnan fell to the bottom overnight. In troubled times, he had nothing, but his "Xiao Huanglian" always stayed by his side... "I thought about dying more than once, but there were some small things that kept me." He turned his head and suddenly smiled, "For example, you, Xiao Huanglian." When you come back this time, how about marrying me?

I originally thought the ending was a bit sentimental, but this seems to be the best ending. Gu Zhongnan should not have been drowned in the dust, but this ending left Lu Qingya and her children to continue struggling in the world. I don't think there's anything wrong with Gu Zhongnan staying outside Su Mansheng's door for a few nights. It's just that he feels guilty for her and can't give his heart to another person. Things like love and justice cannot be explained simply. This is his apology and rejection.
Love in the Republic of China is 9 out of 10 sorrowful. Gu Zhongnan's death was my fault.
A good book worth reading
I accidentally discovered this book and I couldn't stop reading it. I read it all day and finally finished it at 2 o'clock in the night. I didn't expect the ending, it was so unpredictable. The unexplainable feeling at that moment was always uncomfortable until the next day. Maybe this is the charm of good writing. Will continue to pay attention to the author's other works.
Why did you write the male protagonist to death? He was very bland all the time, and then he just became bland and died.
Very good, very good
It's worth watching. I wish it was a comedy, but I have no control over life in this world.
Very good very good, the ending is a bit sad.
Good. . . . . . . . .
The male protagonist also died in the end
Join the trial,,,,,,,
