Long ago, dragons were brought to the brink of extinction, nearly wiped out by the Order of St. George, the legendary dragon-slaying organization. As a result, the dragon began to transform into human form and established the Talon Organization to secretly increase its power. They hoped to take over the entire world without humans being aware of it. Amber Hill and Dante Hill are a pair of dragon siblings who received various trainings in order to sneak into human society. Amber hopes to spend a summer of freedom as a human girl before Talon determines her future location. But fate is a matter of perspective, and the appearance of a single beast challenges all her knowledge of Talon. Amber decides to fight her fate, but then she and her brother are hunted by St. George. Soldier Garrett is tasked with finding and destroying all dragons, especially Talon's latest stalker. But he can't take action until he confirms his target, and he can't be sure that Amber is his target.
