Forbidden Love in Mount Fuji
About This Novel
More than half a century ago, the publication of "Forbidden Love on Mount Fuji" caused an uproar in Japan. It has been adapted into movies eight times, each time triggering a craze for movie viewing; people always take the trouble to relive this hopeless love story in the book in various ways. "Forbidden Love on Mount Fuji" is one of the masterpieces of suspense master Matsumoto Seicho. The novel begins with the encounter, acquaintance, and passionate love between Onoki and Raiko, and takes the reader bit by bit into a maze of love and hate. It seems like two people in love blindfolded, until everything is irreversibly destroyed. What the novel really explores is: What can we do in the face of a love that is doomed to despair?

I haven't finished watching it yet, but I'm gradually getting into it. Suddenly I discovered that Higashino Keigo's writing is somewhat similar to Matsumoto Seicho's. Relatively speaking, the latter is more delicate.
Don't miss it if you pass by, come in and sign in
What a sad ending
The heroine has a beautiful face, a graceful figure, and a clean heart. In a boring marriage, a disappointed husband, and a future without life and hope. An encounter with a handsome, kind-hearted and righteous prosecutor brings forth the flower of human romantic love, but is troubled by moral reputation and dedicated love...
A sad ending, but also reasonable. After all, it's really hard for people who love each other to stay together.
It's just that the heroine doesn't understand that the fame, fortune and wealth in her life are not as good as being able to meet the person who knows, loves and cherishes each other.
I read it more than ten years ago on the second floor of Duanlumen Xinhua Bookstore. It is an easy-to-read novel and is recommended for reading. The plot is not complicated, because the characters are quite pure, with an admirable simplicity, which adds considerable credibility to the regret at the end.
A good book with rich content
The writing style is delicate and the narrative is vivid. The content expressed is indeed a bit outdated today, but it is not difficult to imagine the psychological and conceptual shock it gave people at that time when it was first released.
It's squeaky and unremarkable.
