About This Novel
Senior police officer Luke encounters Miss Pinkerton from the countryside on his way to London by train. The old lady claimed that she was on her way to Scotland Yard to uncover the truth about several murders. Surprisingly, she died in a car accident shortly afterwards. The storyline is fascinating! I almost finished reading it in one sitting! Although I can't remember some of the names, that's not the point. It makes people want to put it down and give them a sense of being immersed in it. This is the great thing about Agatha!
